Oberammergau, Germany - a visit via the German Alpine Road (Deutsche Alpenstrasse)

After touring the wonderful Romantic Road (Romantische Strasse), we left Füssen, Germany and began our German Alpine Road (Deutsche Alpenstrasse) drive that would take us all the way through Bavaria to the end at the Austrian border. One of our major stops was the historic town of Oberammergau, known for doing the famous “Passion Play“ every ten years, where the whole town gets involved in presenting the play.
