wdak - those summer nights [Elektron Model:Samples house track]

Last summer, I spent some time in my hometown, Pechora. While I was there, I made a short loop on my Model:Samples, which reminded me of early 00s house tunes from my childhood. Additionally, my dear friend gave me an old MiniDV camera with a bunch of tapes, so I decided to film some footage of our parties during the endless white nights, along with some views of our town and nature. After returning from Pechora, I finished the tune, and it became even more nostalgic for me. I decided to include some photos from that trip and incorporate some videos from the tapes in post-production. It took a long time to finish the montage, so I’m releasing it almost a year later. But I’m pretty much happy with the result, and I hope that you’ll like it too. All sounds are coming from the device.
