This video shows the music video (or preview video) of Estonia’s entry during the Eurovision Song Contest 1996 in Oslo, Norway. Maarja-Liis Ilus & Ivo Linna have represented Estonia in Eurovision 1996 with the song “Kaelakee hääl“ (Sound of Necklace/Necklace Voice). They finished 5th of 23 participants with 94 (including 12 points from Finland, Iceland and Sweden) points in the final. They performed at the eleventh position (between Greece and Norway) during the final. It was the first time that a former USSR state finished in the top 5 of the Eurovision Song Contest. Maarja-Liis Ilus also represented Estonia the following year, in 1997 with “Keelatud maa“, finishing 8th. She was only 15 during the 1996 contest. The music video was broadcasted during the NRK’s (Norwegian and host broadcaster of the Eurovision Song Contest 1996) program “Adresse Oslo“ few days before the contest. This program was made to present the previews videos of each entry of Eurovision 1996. Music : Priit Pajusaar Lyrics : Kaari Si
