Marshal Badoglio (1936)

Full title reads: “Marshal Badoglio enters the burnt-out city of Addis Ababa“. Italy annexes Ethiopia (aka Abyssinia). Ethiopia is organised with Eritrea and Italian Somaliland as Italian East Africa. Italian troops invade capital city. Various shots of war torn city; inhabitants wander streets, buildings have been shelled and bombed, smoke rises from piles of rubble. Various shots of Marshal Pietro Badoglio and other officers of Italian Army walking up steps to large building. We see the officers salute as an Italian flag is unfurled on pole at the front of building. M/S of Italian soldiers marching through grounds of building, behind a flag.
