Bavarian State Chancellery, Hofgarten: a Pleasant Afternoon Stroll Through the Sun-drenched Garden

This is exactly the description of the main building that is written in front of it and you will see it in the video: “The building in front of you is the Bavarian State Chancellery, the office of the Bavarian Minister-President. As head of the State Government, the Minister-President establishes policy guidelines and represents the State of Bavaria in Germany and abroad. Under his chairmanship, the Bavarian Cabinet convenes in the State Chancellery. The central dome goes back to the Royal Bavarian Army Museum, which was heavily damaged during World War Il. The modern side wings were built from 1989 to 1993. In front of the building, there are two monuments: a memorial for Munich citizens who died in World War I and World War Il and a statue of Otto I., who in the 12th century became the first Duke of Bavaria from the House of Wittelsbach, later the royal family of Bavaria.
