TERMINATRYX - “MARIAN“ (THE SISTERS OF MERCY Cover Version) for World Goth Day

Subscribe here for more @terminatryx content: / All social media links at: To celebrate WORLD GOTH DAY, we continue our @terminatryx tradition of doing a special cover version and video to commemorate May 22nd 🦇 This time around it is THE SISTERS OF MERCY’s “Marian“ (1985). There are so many classic Sisters songs to pick from and this was one of the less obvious ones - and also one of Sonja’s favourites - particularly their live version from the Old Grey Whistle Test BBC TV show in the mid-1980s. We leaned towards that rendition as it differs a bit from the album cut. We also kept it simple both in the interpretation of the song and in the music video. If you don’t know THE SISTERS OF MERCY, you’re in for one hell of a great discovery. Do check out our other World Goth Day (and more) covers at this playlist: and please hit a like and subscribe 🔥😉 “Marian“ was written by Andrew Eldritch and Wayne Hussey was adapted and appears on the 1985 album First And Last And Always. This rendition was adapted and performed by TERMINATRYX, recorded and mixed by Paul Blom. The video was shot, directed and edited by Paul A.
