Starting The Sampling Process (iVardensphere and Comaduster)

Time to start working on some new material. The first thing you have to do when working on new material is to build yourself a sound pallet. We’re sampling a pile of machinery and other such instruments of the modern industrial era with a Sanken CO100k microphone (capable of recording upwards of 100kHz audio range and we’re going with a sample rate of 192kHz. This allows radical pitch shifting while maintaining the higher frequencies. Let’s see what we get out of this!
