Starting the IL-2 Engine

This IL-2 was rebuild and tested in Novosibirsk, Russia in 2011. Flies with a “reversed“ Allison V-1710 powerplant. The plane was restored personally for Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen and is currently stored in his personal rare aircraft collection in the US.
