HY-POLY Free is a 4-voice subtractive polyphonic synth with onboard audio effects, resizable interface, and many modulation possibilities. The Oscillators The HY-POLY free features 2 oscillators that can morph freely between saw and square waveforms as well as a Sub Oscillator and Noise generator. The Sub Oscillator can be made to sync to either Oscillator 1 or 2. The Filters With its Dual Filter design, the HY-POLY free is capable of creating everything from the softest pads to the harshest leads. Both filters feature LP, BP and HP modes with resonance and 2, 3 and 4 Pole settings, as well as separate Drive circuitry. The filters are very musical and on the mellow side, which gives them a very “analog“ character perfect for that retro-vibe.
