SUPPORT / DONATE: -- So, this one turned out to be quite interesting to work on. I had decided to approach this one with a different mindset. Rather than tackling this one strictly with DOOM in mind, I instead treated it as if it were more like one of my originals (like if there were a “HORIZONS II“ album or something). It was mainly the melody starting at 1:22 that made me shift my focus on how I’d handle this cover. I really enjoyed how it sounded in the original, but was disappointed that it was just over too fast. So I wound up extending it, adding some guitars into the mix as well. I was also happy that I got to use my Stratocaster a bit more for this one (for the rhythm parts at 1:37 and 3:33). The echoey drums also really gave me this “floating in space“ sort of feeling.
