Soprano Elisabeth Hetherington and lute player David Mackor perform ’Say love if ever thou didst finde’ by John Dowland in the Church of Kortenhoef (The Netherlands). The Amsterdam-Canadian soprano Elisabeth Hetherington (26) is, together with lute player David Mackor, the third attendant of the talent programme ’AVROTROS Klassiek presents!’. In this programme, AVROTROS gives young classical musical talents a kick start for their professional career. During four months the talents appear as reccuring guests in AVROTROS radioshows and they get the chance to record their professional first album, accompanied by a photoshoot. The first album of Elisabeth en David, with lute songs by John Dowland and contemporaries, got released in april 2019. The album is exclusively for members of AVROTROS Klassiek.
