My Hat! (1927)

A “Camera Interview“ with Handers and Millis (?) the well-known eccentric Comedians. Introductory intertitle reads: “What with your moustache and my hat - life’s nothing but a trial“, said Handers - “ The two men walk towards each other, take off their hats and wiggle them around a bit. They try and shake hands but miss. Funny business involving the hats and moustache ensues. One of the comics can roll his hat up his back and onto his head - quite impressive. The other spends a lot of time twiddling his moustache and dancing around in a camp manner with his hands in the air. C/U of him twisting his moustache. We then see some of their antics in slow motion. By means of optical printing or multiple exposure, the comedians see miniature versions of themselves standing on a table. They laugh at their own routine. Was originally an item in Eve’s Film Review issue number 332. FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ. EXPLORE OUR ONLINE CHANNEL, BRITISH PATHÉ TV.
