Biden Screws Newsom Over Farm Workers Bill

As the Democratic governor of a deep blue state, Gavin Newsom should be a hero to the working classes, right? Yet California’s well-coiffed governor has refused to support a bill that passed the state legislature granting greater flexibility to agricultural workers to vote in union elections without fear of reprisals or possible deportation. But now, swooping in on Newsom’s left is President Joe Biden, who apparently follows California politics pretty closely, has stated that Newsom should sign the bill.
