The song represented Iceland in the Eurovision Song Contest Semi-Finals 2007 in Helsinki on May 10th. ´Valentine Lost´ was performed by Eirikur Hauksson, composed by Sveinn Runar Sigurdsson, lyrics by Peter Fenner and Eirikur Hauksson. Eirikur was selected to represent Iceland in Helsinki by televoting in the national competition Söngvakeppni Sjónvarpsins on February 18th 2007 by the majority of the televotes. The song was originally written in Icelandic (Ég les í lófa þínum, lyrics by Kristján Hreinsson) b
