This Barbie one was very fun :) I actually enjoyed the Barbie movie at a surface level. It was a fun plastic analysis of patriachy, and I feel like we need more media of the pink genre in our lives. Greta Gerwig is an AMAZING director too!!! However upon first viewing I noticed a lot of flaws with the analysis, specifically concerning Mattels history, and the presentation of feminism soooo I had to do what a youtuber does and deep dive! Ken really reasonated with me on a deeper level, the character of ken was an amazing analysis on the performance of masculinity men go through on a daily basis. Honestly if you have Ben Shapiro getting mad at your art... you’re doing well LMAOOOOOOOO Anyways, we’ve been skyrocketing recently.
