Sheetmetal bracket Solidworks to Autocad-Sheetmetal flatten-SLDPRT to DXF-Solidworks dxf dwg export
In this tutorial, we will learn how to design a sheetmetal bracket in solidworks. After designing sheetmetal bracket in solidworks, we will be exporting our file from Solidworks to AutoCAD.
Remember Solidworks part file format is .sldprt while AutoCAD has either .dwg or .dxf file formats. DWG is Autocad standard drawing file format while DXF is data exchange format and this file format is mostly accepted by many machining processes like different CAM software’s, Laser cutting, EDM etc.
