Medical groups discuss impact of COVID-19 pandemic – October 6, 2021

Representatives from the Canadian Medical Association (CMA) and the Canadian Nurses Association (CNA) hold a virtual news conference to provide a summary of an emergency summit that was held the previous evening. The CMA and CNA hosted a discussion about the pandemic’s impact on the health-care system and its workers. More than 30 other national and provincial health organizations took part in the summit. Participants identified key priorities for responding to the ongoing crisis.
