Workman arrested after shoving Just Stop Oil protesters on Blackfriars Bridge

A workman has been arrested on Blackfriars Bridge after a Just Stop Oil protester was shoved to the ground in front of police officers. Footage captured at the protest showed a man, dressed in bright orange work gear, apparently attempting to remove demonstrators from the carriageway as they slowly walked backwards over the bridge. Video shows police officers intercepting the man as he attempted to remove a second protester from the middle of the road. Motorists caught up in the protest appeared to show support for the man as they beeped their horns in frustration at the standstill. One voice is heard saying “absolutely disgusting“ as the man is handcuffed by two police officers.
