Full title reads: “Loonie Lids. A Fashion Forecast for 1950 by our Captive Cartoonist - Joe Noble“. Various cartoon drawings of early hat designs. The cartoon shows how the designs change through time. Intertitle reads: “Our Cartoonist, normally quite harmless, foretells some ’useful’ fashions of the future“. Various nice cartoons showing future possibilities in hat design - e.g. a parcel carrying hat for the hen pecked husband, a Brazier Bowler for the man who is always cold, a combined hat and parachute.
