Making Homemade Catfish Bait

Hello and welcome to Old Ways Gardening and Prepping. 🍀 Would like to welcome you out to the shed of many names. Today I am preparing for a much needed break to go fishing. This recipe was taught to me many years ago way down in Mississippi by a elder man who swore by it, and now so do I. Now of course you will need to use jello brand jello. In my area the cherry works best a different flavor might work better for you. You can also break down your batch in to different bags and experiment with different flavors to find which flavor your catfish prefer. 2 tubs chicken livers, undrained or 1 large package of chicken gizzards 1 family size or 2 regular packages of Jello brand jello 3 capfuls of real vanilla 1/4 cup of garlic powder Hope this video encourages you as well to make your own catfish bait.
