Gabriela Rueda Rueda, the Queen of Speed

Gabriela Rueda Rueda is one of the most resilient speed champions in the world. During the Speed World Championships in Montecchio Maggiore, Italy, she reached the podium several times, winning 3 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze medals. The true highlight of her performance occured during the track race, where Rueda showcased her incredible determination and strength by getting up after a bad fall and winning with just 10 laps left. Gabriela told us about her passion for a harsh and competitive sport like speed, within the Colombian team, which has won 28 gold, 9 silver and 13 bronze medals during the last world competition, giving birth to many extraordinary champions in this sport. Other than being a great team player, Gabriela was the first Olympic gold medalist in inline roller skating during the 2018 Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires. She also won this year the BMW Berlin Marathon Inline Skating. Be ready to see her and many other champions back on track again during the Panamerican Games the 4th and 5th of November!
