A Drive Around Peyia

Today we start on the Akoursos to Peyia road, which appears to have been resurfaced at one part at least. We head to Peyia before encountering a Cyprus Traffic Jam, otherwise known as a herd of goats. When we hit Peyia, we go on a roundabout route far too twisty for me to attempt to commit to a map, so just enjoy the ride for what it is! Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road. ■ ▬ Paphos Coast To Coast ▬ Explore traditional villages, visit a shipwreck and some ancient sea caves, and have a swim or a paddle in some of the lovely beaches.
