The light of the world2 John 8:12 Dispute Over Jesus’ Testimony When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life. As we examine Jesus speaking with the religious leaders in the Book of John chapter 8 we see again the importance of God opening the hearts and Minds of his Hearers. Jesus while speaking with the religious leaders of his day let them know a centralized truth about himself that they were unable to receive because they’re Minds were controlled by the god of this age. My desire for each of us as children of God may God continue to open our hearts and Minds so that we are able to receive the truth that the Lord is sharing with us if he does not we will find ourselves fighting against the truth and fighting against the Christ. My prayer may God continue to open our hearts and Minds that we may accept the truth of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ.
