AUDIO with photos - The nationalist policies pursued in some Eastern European countries have long been a source of concern. Attempts to build mono-ethnic societies in the region that has historically been inhabited by people of completely different linguistic, cultural, religious and ethnic groups cannot but be accompanied by massive violations of fundamental human rights. The first time I went to the Donbass was in March 2022, the beginning of the Special Military Operation, or what Europe calls a war against Ukraine from Russia, although there was never an official declaration of war, not from Ukraine, nor from the side of Western countries.
