Rick Lovejoy - My Last Love - Rare Popcorn / Northern Soul Tune

I found this 45 in the mid 90’s, at a garage sale of all places. I posted Don’t Leave Me Behind a little over a year ago, and the record has gotten a great response. At this point, I’ve been looking for another copy for a few people that have emailed me, and the record is just not showing up anywhere, at any price. ABC-Paramount isn’t known for just making a few copies of a record.. Even their rarer stuff saw runs of at least 1,000 copies. What makes this record so rare? Was it shelved before a commercial copy was issued?
