SINGLE AVAILABLE ON BANDCAMP! “Lifsöngurinn“ is a Nordic Folk track that follows in the musical footsteps of my previous piece “Stríðssöngurinn“. Whereas “Stríðssöngurinn“ was a chant about conquering inner demons and fighting on, “Lifsöngurinn“ is a chant that celebrates life and nature as well as the importance of keeping the peace that was fought for. The accompanying video doubles down on the nature aspect, enhancing the music with visuals of a detached, peaceful and isolated world. The video itself was shot and edited by me and filmed in various locations in the north of Denmark.
