Geleia Solar - Quintessência

Saxophonist, flutist and composer, João Theodoro Meirelles is considered one of the creators of samba jazz. “Quintessência” is one of his great compositions, and was the opening track of the album O SOM - Meirelles and Os Copa 5, from 1963. This version of Geleia Solar had the participation of Alexandre Vieira (bass), Bruno Aranha (piano ), Fernando Isaia (trumpet), Gabi Guedes (percussion), Ivan Huol (drums), Jordi Amorim (guitar), Lucas Decliê (alto sax), Matias Traut (pole trombone) and Thiago Nunes (percussion).
