Lomachenko exposes Devin Haney in lying about sending him an offer to fight. Vasiliy says after he started replying to Devin’s tweets, Devin Haney’s father contacted Egis Klimas (Loma’s manager) and asked if they were serious about fighting or just hyping on twitter, Egis replied that they were serious. Devin Haney went live on instagram on March 12, 2021 and stated: ”We are not going to say that Linares fight is official yet. Because we have sent Loma an offer to fight. So we will see how that goes. If he takes the fight then that would be the fight. If not, then we are going to move on to Linares.” According to Lomachenko, he never received anything in paper and says he never heard from Haney again after that one phone call they had.
