Airco DH-2 60“ plan built, electric powered WW1 Fighter - Flight Review

Now for a extreme change of pace from my last video, from the pioneer of jet flight (Me-262 in previous upload) to a pioneer of fighter aircraft from WW1, the Aicro DH-2! I go into the full back story on this model, but this was a extremely lucky second hand buy I picked up some years ago unflown. It sat idle in storage first in the UK, then for a few years over here in The Netherlands but finally, just over these past few weekend I’d got around to installing the electronics for flight (Turnigy G90 motor, Aerostar 80amp ESC, 6200mah 6S, 16x10 prop and standard servos) and maidened this unusual and striking bird just this past weekend. A rather different airframe to fly, but enjoyable and charming non the less. Here is a quick walk through my history with the model and flight review having flown here 5 or 6 times now. Enjoy and thanks for watching. PS I may have to sell this model due to lack of space, so if you’re in the neighborhood of The Netherlands, feel free to contact me about it.
