[c64] Jumpin’ Jack (1983)

I only completed the first level and died in the second. There’s new obstacles in level 2 and difficulty is also increased by making turtles, logs and cars move faster. This is the first “Frogger game“ I played, but I played some other jumping games at the same age which weren’t as similar to Frogger. The sound emulation cracks a bit in this game, but it shouldn’t be very disturbing. Quote from a review of the game: “The angle is canted in the “northwest“ direction of the screen, meaning that an “up“ jump takes you to the up and right. That means if you are on the right side of the screen and try to jump up, you fall off the right edge of the players typically find the leftmost bay the most difficult to reach in any Frogger implementation, but in Jumpin’ Jack it’s particularly brutal--it is basically flush with the edge of the screen, so there is absolutely no margin for error when making the last two jumps in.
