Gojushiho of Matsuda Shorin Ryu Karate, by Hirokazu Matsuda, Son of Yoshimasa Matsuda - “Iju Useshi“

Matsuda Shorin Ryu karate gojushiho (useshi), from Master Shugoro Nakazato’s Iju gojushiho (of Master Seiichi Iju). Nakazato’s and Matsuda’s versions are quite similar to each other, though clearly not identical. Nakazato’s Shorinkan Shorin Ryu karate version of Iju useshi is illustrated separately on this channel. This is a clip from the DVD entitled “Matsuda’s Shorin Ryu Karate: Tape 1“. It features a student of Master Yoshimasa Matsuda, who can be seen to look very much like Sensei Yoshimasa Matsuda, and therefore is certainly his son, Hirokazu Matsuda.
