Here I am walking in Dortmund, Germany, through the city center with its Christmas Markets on a November night in 2021. Our walk tour goes from the Hansaplatz, where one of the biggest Christmas tree stands, to the Alter Markt, then to Reinoldi Church and surrounding places. With more than three and a half million visitors of 300 stalls it is one of the biggest Christmas markets of the world and brings tourists from all over the world to Dortmund. Today the most famous feature of Dortmund Weihnachtsmarkt is one of the tallest Christmas tree with more than 45 meters height. The tree is made of 1,700 spruces from Sauerland.
