The elderly man was a passenger in the vehicle which collided in Grangemouth, Fife, on Sunday, Police Scotland said. It comes as some 70,000 people are still without power across Britain following the storm, around 40,000 of them in Northern Ireland and 30,000 in the north of England and Scotland with many not expected to be reconnected until Tuesday, according to the Energy Networks Association.
