CAS Hanwei Iga Ninja-To Test Cutting

Test cutting with CAS Hanwei Iga Ninja-To. This is the sister blade to the Kouga. I purchased this sword a few years before the Kouga. I love the the fit and finish and Koshirae on this sword. Very well done. Beautiful menuki of moon, clouds and sun. Love the overall look. As much as I love my Kouga, I would say the Iga has a better over all aesthetic (at least for me). It is also slightly more expensive than the Kouga. The saya is really cool with rattan wrap near koiguchi and iron tip Kojiri. The sword cut very well, despite my edge alignment on some cuts. Definitely have to adjust my positioning and distance with the shorter straight blade. As in my other videos on tameshigiri, I am using tatami omote from Mugen Dachi/ Tameshigiri Mats I really like the quality and consistency of their tatami. It is clean (no dirt or debris), and has great density once soaked for 24 hours. For great pics and description check out Kult of Athena
