Japanese Kamikaze Pilots Raid US Fleet - Towards the end of the war the US fleet had Mainland Japan in it’s sights. In a last desperate attempt to inflict as much damage to the US Naval Fleet as possible, pilots would crash their aircraft into Naval Vessels. When successful, the damage caused was catastrophic.
