Moebius cast-on

In this video you learn how to knit the Moebius technique. With Moebius you can make a wonderfully twisted scarf, shawl, wrap etc. The cast on is done over a looped circular needle. The cast on has two basic moves and is fairly easy to master, as long as you pay attention when beginning the first row of knitting. 1. CASTING ON - Cast on the desired number of stitches - Place a stitch marker at the end of the row 2. BEGINNING TO KNIT In order to keep the stitches from twisting, you need to make sure that the wire and needle cross only once (this is the Moebius Twist). This is how you do it: - Twist the needle outside the wire, so the needle, wire and stitches lay parallel to each other. Make sure to keep this position the entire round (row 1 only). - From here on out just knit each round as desired.
