Celesta da Vinci - Earth Song (cover, Michael Jackson)

‘Earth Song’ is, in my opinion, one of the best productions ever made in the history of music. The music and the lyrics are both a true masterpiece. In 1995, Michael Jackson left a true legacy to the world with his message: we have to take care of our precious planet, or there will be no future for our next generations. Knowing that this is the last song Michael ever sang, on June 24th 2009, during a rehearsal, makes the song even more special. I want to reinforce his message. We need to become a more friendly world for children, animals and nature! Every year more than 6 million children die before their 5th birthday, 5 billion trees are cut down and, only in The Netherlands, 640 million animals are slaughtered (let alone how many animals are slaughtered every year in the whole world!). We have a lot of work to do to make the world a better place.
