Mother Of All Queens and Mother Who Took Revenge On 6 March 1981, the third day of the trial and around 10 a.m, Marianne Bachmeier smuggled a Beretta 70 into the courtroom of Lübeck District Court, room 157, and fatally shot Klaus Grabowski. She aimed the gun at his back and fired seven times; six shots hit Klaus Grabowski, who was killed almost instantly. She told the courtroom judge that was present, “I wanted to kill him. I wanted to shoot him in the face, but I shot him in the back... I hope he’s dead.“ In her official statement, she wrote, “I did it for you, Anna.“ She included seven hearts to depict the seven years of Anna’s life. After debates, Marianne Bachmeir was sentenced to six years but released on bail after serving three years. On September 17, 1996, Marianne Bachmeier died at the age of 46 from pancreatic cancer in a hospital in Lübeck. Her final resting place is next to her daughter, Anna, in Burgtor Cemetery, Lübeck.
