As you know, Season 10 was all about motorized RVing, but we didn’t enjoy the RV rental process. So we did the next best thing—we bought a 1984 Blue Bird Wanderlodge. We’ve learned a lot about motorized RVing and have loved sharing all of our learning moments with you. But probably the best surprise for us was choosing a route based on the Bird’s Route 66-themed upholstery. The Mother Road did not disappoint! Candidly, we had our reservations about traveling Route 66. We thought it would just be a series of kitschy museums and abandoned towns. There was definitely some of that, but overall, Route 66 far exceeded our expectations
