美しい御姫様が、瞬時に鬼の形相に変わる、人形居ならではの表現。 An expression unique to puppetes in which a beautiful princess that instantly transforms into a demon. （あらすじ） 恋人を連れて道成寺へ向かう安珍。 安珍に恋する清姫は、月明かりの中、 必死で二人を追いかけます。 ようやく日高川の渡し場にたどり着く清姫ですが、 船頭は川を渡してくれません。 安珍は船頭に金を渡し、 「清姫が来ても川を渡さないように」 と頼んでいたのです。 清姫は悲しさのあまり泣き伏しますが、 その恋しさと悲しさは、やがて怒りに変わり、 清姫は恐ろしい大蛇に変身し、 川へ飛び込み泳いでいくのでした。 Synopsis Anchin headed for Dojoji Temple with a lover. In the moonlight, Kiyohime, who is in love with Anchin, is frantically chasing the two. Kiyohime who finally arrives at the Hidaka River’s entrance, but the boatman does not pass the river. Anchin passed the money to the boatman and asked, “Never let her cross the river even though if she comes here.“ Kiyohime cries so much of sadness, her love and sadness eventually turn into anger, and she transforms into a horrible serpent, dives into the river and swims for Dojoji Temple.
