Rotifers feeding - prize winning microscope video

The winning entry in the 2012 Olympus Bioscapes microphotography competition is this video of aquatic rotifers, made by Ralph Grimm of Australia. The animals are feeding using their hair-like cilia to sweep food into their mouths. The red dots are their eyes. Olympus Bioscapes is an international imaging competition for still and video entries, established in 2003.
