Miami, Florida’s WORST Neighborhoods are disappearing.

Holy crap! These Miami hoods sure are changing fast! Back in the 1980s, Miami was the murder capital of the nation. There were more than 600 murders here one year, and this place was so bad they ran out of room to stick all of the bodies. Today, Miami is far less dangerous, and most of its former crime hotspots are far less dangerous, but still very poor. The ’dangerous areas of Miami’ have earned their reputation, and there are pockets here that are just scary, but it’s still far better here now than it once was. On today’s Florida tour stop, I’m going to look at five of the worst places in the Miami area these days - Opa Locka, Liberty City, Overtown, Little Haiti and Hialeah. As we’ll see, there’s a pretty good chance these neighborhoods won’t even exist in their current state one day.
