M7.6 Earthquake & Tsunami Hit Japan January 1, 2024 - Part 2

Compilation of the devastating earthquake that shook Japan on January 1, 2024, at 4:10 PM local time. The quake which had a magnitude of 7.6 (JMA), 7.5 (USGS) struck on the Noto Peninsula, Ishikawa prefecture at a depth of 10km with a maximum intensity of IX/Shindo 7 and caused a tsunami that flooded the area. At least 215 were killed, and 668 were injured.
