SP-303: RESAMPLE + EXT SOURCE to Record Instruments while the Beat Plays [Beat Making Tutorial]

Recording live Bass & Guitar through the Ext Source while the samples play at the same time using Resample is my latest favourite thing about the Boss SP-303. In the video I make a beat and breakdown how I connect everything in the process: 0:42 - Make a drum loop and layer piano sample. 1:05 - Plug Bass directly into the Mic Input at the front of the sp303. Record using Resample with Ext Source selected. 2:34 - Flesh out the structure of the beat using variations of the loop. 4:15 - Guitar with iRig (iPad) connected to the Line In at the back of the sp303. Record again with Resample Ext Source, plus Vinyl Sim on both beat & guitar. 5:55 - Final beat. Get at me with Q’s below!
