What is even better then Mahler? Danced Mahler. This Pas de Deux version of his Adagietto of the 5th is heartbreakingly felicific, beyond words. Angelin Preljocaj created this “Blanche Neige“ ballet using music by Gustav Mahler, in this case the 4th movement “Adagietto“ of his 5th symphony, played by the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra under the direction of Riccardo Chailly.
