Godfathers of Bhangra Music Balbir and Dalbir Singh Khanpur of Bhujhangy Group UK band based in Smethwick, Birmingham. Have been performing,composing,writing and recording bhangra songs,Qhwalis,Gazels and religious albums since 1967. They also been in the Guinness World Book of Records 2001 and 2005 for the pioneers of bhangra music in the U.K. They have both been singing together for over 41 years. They have recorded 50 alubms which are on EP’S,LP’’ and CD. The two original founders of bhangra .Dalbir Singh Khanpur originally recorded Gidhe Wich Nach Baliye 1986 in Birmingham.
