Boxy and blithe, Cathy Carron’s golden pullover, worked in a fisherman’s rib, begins with a scarf, knit flat in AslanTrends’ nubby “La Pampa.“ From the scarf’s center back, stitches are picked up and joined to work the sweater top-down in the round in AslanTrends’ “Del Sur.“ Once the body is finished, sleeves are similarly picked up, from openings at the yoke, and finished circularly, Featured in Vogue Knitting 2008/09.
