I have made those rough pre-production animation tests in 2016 ,working closely with character designer Nico Marlet .( he would do draw overs on my keys and I would adjust my animation accordingly).
These were done before the CG models were created.
Even though I had to go fast and stay a bit rough , I had lots of fun and freedom to explore.
