When Hats were Illegal: Sewing a Goth Edwardian Hat

Let’s start digging in to the 1910s with a look at hats! I’m starting a thorough project of reproducing the most epic dark gothic dress from 1914, and it needs ALL of the accessories to go with it. So we’re digging out the millinery buckram for once and getting to work on making some headwear. Since this era is a little outside of my previous experience with millinery, I acquired a similar antique hat to use as source material for construction techniques.
