Ableton Re-Enveloper with Distortion Dan Worralls Video “WTF is a compander“ was die inspiration for this video. In his video he lays out the principle in depth. As I wanted to test this as well but didn’t want to spend around 130€, I was looking for alternatives. And I found one. Of course it’s not that packed with all the features U-HE Satin has but it’s free and got me in the same direction. Namely it’s the free tool called Ableton Re-Enveloper and this pack (Creative Extensions) is free for Standard and Suite users.
